Silos and hoppers are used for meal storage and shipment. Depending on the size, type of design, and type of material, we use screw conveyors or, in some cases, discharge valves. This installation allows the storage of a specific volume for storage purposes, in addition to provide cooling of the final product and the mixing of different qualities. For fats, it is recommended the use of tanks for heated storage, which can return material ready to assist the process. The meal silos, in addition to containing screw conveyors or discharge valves, can include production capacity measurement systems as well as level and temperature sensors.
